Das gilt f\u00fcr diejenigen, die ein Schiff durch Wind und Wellen jeden Ozeans segeln, ebenso wie f\u00fcr das Team, das von Land aus alles organisiert: die Werft, Termine, Ersatzteile, Routenplanung, Mitsegler, Ank\u00fcnfte, Abfahrten, Proviant, Wetter und vieles mehr.<\/p>

Jahrgang 1957, Segler, Bergsteiger, Kletterer und Allround-Abenteurer.<\/p>

Ferne L\u00e4nder und Kulturen kennenzulernen ist seine Motivation, ein Schiff ist ein ideales Medium. Man hat alles, was man braucht, an nur einem Ort.<\/p>

Im Jahr 1985 kaufte er das 14-Meter-Stahlschiff SANTA MARIA. Mit ihr segelte er im Mittelmeer und dann \u00fcber den Atlantik bis in der Karibik, immer der Sonne nach.<\/p>

Ende der 80er Jahre wurde Wolf ein wenig unruhig. Dabei war ihm klar, dass weit im S\u00fcden neue Herausforderungen auf ihn warteten: Kap Hoorn und die Antarktis, ein gro\u00dfer und leerer Abenteuerspielplatz aus Eis und Stein. Es war eine unermessliche Einladung zum Entdecken, Erforschen und Erobern. Hier findet er seine Welt.<\/p>

Im Jahr 1991 kam die geb\u00fcrtige Venezolanerin Jeannete an Bord.<\/p>

Gemeinsam begannen sie im Jahr 1995 ihre Pionierarbeit und entdeckten die abenteuerlichen Gew\u00e4sser und Berge Feuerlands in der N\u00e4he von Kap Hoorn und der Antarktis.<\/p>

Im Jahr 2011 schaffte es Wolf auf der Santa Maria Australis, den amerikanischen Kontinent komplett zu umrunden. Innerhalb eines Jahres umrundete er Kap Hoorn und durchsegelte die ber\u00fcchtigte Nordwestpassage. Eine Tat die zuvor niemand gelungen war.<\/p>

Bereits in jungen Jahren fand Jeannete ihre Motivation und Lebensbejahung im Reisen.<\/p>\n

Im Jahr 1991 lernten sich Jeannete und der Segler Wolf Kloss in der Karibik kennen. Als Begleiterin, Organisatorin, Deckshand und K\u00f6chin blieb sie auf der 14-Meter-Yacht SANTA MARIA, und so begann ihre Segelgeschichte.<\/p>\n

Im Jahr 1995 zogen sie nach S\u00fcden ans \u201eEnde der Welt\u201c, wo sie ihr Zuhause fanden.<\/p>\n

Jeannete war die erste Venezolanerin der Welt, die in die Antarktis segelte.<\/p>\n

Nach all diesen beeindruckenden Erlebnissen verabschiedet sie sich von den Verlockungen der Zivilisation, so wie Wolf Jahre zuvor.<\/p>\n

Im selben Jahr gr\u00fcndeten sie die Firma SIM Expeditions und er\u00f6ffneten das Coir\u00f3n Hostel in Puerto Williams, Chile, welches noch heute naturverbundene G\u00e4ste empf\u00e4ngt.<\/p>\n

Jeannete k\u00fcmmert sich um die Planung bzw. Verwaltung und die t\u00e4glichen Angelegenheiten im Zusammenhang mit unseren Segelt\u00f6rns, der Firma SIM Expeditions und dem Coir\u00f3n Hostel. Sie betreut unsere Kunden seit 25 Jahren und hilft ihnen in allen Belangen. Jeannete spricht Spanisch, Deutsch und Englisch.<\/p>\n

Wenn sie nicht gerade im B\u00fcro sitzt, an einer Reise in die Antarktis teilnimmt oder als Mutter fungiert, findet man sie auf Reisen, beim Radfahren, Wandern, Yoga machen und mehr, um das Leben in vollen Z\u00fcgen zu genie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n

Jeannete und Wolf haben zwei gemeinsame Kinder, Tochter Karin und Sohn Daniel. Beide verbrachten ihre Kindheit und Jugend in Feuerland und an Bord. Getting to know distant countries and cultures is his motivation, a ship is an ideal medium. You have everything you need in just one place. In 1985 he bought the 14-meter steel ship SANTA MARIA, and with it he sailed the Mediterranean Sea then across the Atlantic to the Caribbean, always following the sun. At the end of the 80s, Wolf started to get a bit restless. But he knew that, far in the south, new challenges were awaiting. Cape Horn and the Antarctic, a large and empty adventure playground made from ice and rocks. It was an immeasurable invitation to discover, explore, and conquer. Here he finds his world. In 1991 the Venezuelan-born Jeannete came on board. Together in 1995, they began pioneering, discovering the adventurous waters and mountains of Tierra del Fuego around Cape Horn and the Antarctic. In 2011 Wolf managed to circumnavigate the American continent completely. Within a year he rounded Cape Horn and sailed the infamous Northwest Passage, something that nobody succeeded in doing before. Today, Wolf Kloss is still sailing the world\u2019s oceans as a skipper on both the SANTA MARIA AUSTRALIS and the SANTA MARIA. Jeannete Talavera All-round Crew Already at a young age, Jeannete found her motivation and life-affirmation in traveling. In 1991 Jeannete and sailor Wolf Kloss met in the Caribbean. As a companion, organizer, deckhand, and cook, she stayed on the 14-meter yacht SANTA MARIA, and that is how her sailing story begins. In 1995 they moved south to the \u201cEnd of the World\u201d, where they found their home. Jeannete was the first Venezuelan in the world to sail to Antarctica. After all these impressive experiences, she breaks free from the seductions of civilization, just as Wolf years before. In that same year, they founded the company SIM Expeditions and the Coir\u00f3n Hostel in Puerto Williams \u2013 Chile, which still receives nature-lover guests today. Jeannete takes care of the organization and daily affairs related to our sailing trips, the company SIM Expeditions, and the Coir\u00f3n Hostel. She has been looking after our customers for 25 years, helping them in any way they need. She speaks Spanish, German, and English. Unless she is in the office, taking part in a trip to Antarctica, or busy being a mom, you will find her traveling, cycling, hiking, doing yoga and more, enjoying life at its best.
