Unsere Gedanken richten sich in erster Linie an alle, die direkt oder deren Familien und Freunde von COVID-19 betroffen sind.<\/p>

Wir hoffen, dass Ihr alle wohlbehalten seid und die notwendigen Vorkehrungen trefft, dass dies auch so bleibt.\nDie Leute fragen uns, ob wir glauben, dass es sicher ist, 2020\/2021 wieder in die Antarktis zu reisen. Es gibt viele Meinungen dar\u00fcber, was die Zukunft bereith\u00e4lt, und die einfache Wahrheit ist, dass es niemand wirklich vorhersagen kann.<\/p>

F\u00fcr uns stehen die Gesundheit und die Sicherheit unserer Mitarbeiter und Besucher sowie die der Umwelt an erster Stelle. Die Antarktis ist der letzte Kontinent, welcher noch nicht von COVID-19 betroffen ist. Wir m\u00f6chten unseren Beitrag dazu leisten, dass dies so bleibt. Wir haben daher entschieden, unsere f\u00fcr diese Saison geplanten Reisen in die Antarktis auf die Saison 21\/22 zu verschieben.<\/p>

Nat\u00fcrlich vermissen wir das Reisen und die vielseitigen Begegnungen an Bord.\nUnsere Abenteuer mit Euch zu teilen, ist das, was wir am meisten lieben, und was wir jetzt am meisten vermissen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

W\u00e4hrend wir die SANTA MARIA bereits im August von Schottland an die deutsche Ostseek\u00fcste holen konnten, liegt die SANTA MARIA AUSTRALIS noch auf den Falkland Inseln, wo wir sie im M\u00e4rz 2020 festmachen mussten. Nun wollen wir auch sie vor\u00fcbergehend nach Europa segeln.<\/p>\n

In erster Linie wollen wir die Zeit nutzen, um die SMA in der Werft zu warten. Noch wichtiger ist, dass wir den Interessierten eine realistische und sichere Reise in n\u00e4her gelegene, aber ebenso interessante Gebiete anbieten wollen. Beginnend mit einer einfachen Anfahrt von zu Hause zum Abfahrtshafen, gefolgt von einer sicheren und herzhaften Seereise an Bord und beendet mit einer positiven Heimkehr voller neuer angenehmer Eindr\u00fccke.<\/p>\n

Wann und wohin sich die Reise dann in Europa f\u00fcr beide Schiffe fortsetzt, k\u00f6nnen wir aktuell noch nicht im Detail sagen. Wir verfolgen die weltweiten Entwicklungen ganz genau und (re)agieren sobald wir absehen k\u00f6nnen, dass Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit, Sicherheit und Gesundheit f\u00fcr Mitsegler und Crew gew\u00e4hrleistet werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

COVID-19 Our thoughts go first and foremost to all those who have been directly affected or those whose families and friends have been affected by COVID-19. We hope that each of you are safe and well and that you are taking the necessary precautions to keep it that way.\u00a0People have been asking us if we think it is safe to travel to Antarctica again in 2020\/2021. There are many opinions as to what the future holds, however, the simple truth is that no one can really tell. For us, the health and safety of our staff and visitors, as well as the environment, are paramount. Antarctica is the last continent not yet affected by COVID-19. We want to do our part to keep it that way. We have therefore decided to postpone our trips to Antarctica planned for this season until the 21\/22 season. Of course, we miss the travelling and the various experiences on board. Sharing our adventures with you is what we love and what we now miss the most. If you cannot travel to South America, then we will come to you \u2013 the SANTA MARIA AUSTRALIS is sailing to Europe! While we were already able to bring the SANTA MARIA from Scotland to the German Baltic coast in August, the SANTA MARIA AUSTRALIS is still moored in the Falkland Islands, where we had to leave her in March 2020. Now we also want to sail her temporarily to Europe. First of all, we want to use the time to service her in the shipyard. More importantly, we want to offer interested parties feasible and safe journey in closer yet equally interesting areas. Starting with a smooth journey from home to the port of departure, followed by a safe and healthy voyage on board and finished with a positive homecoming full of new pleasant impressions. We are not yet able to say in detail when and where our journey will continue in Europe. We are following the worldwide developments very closely and will (re)act as soon as we can ensure the reliability of the situation and the safety and health of our crew and passengers.
